We are absolutely thrilled to extend a warm welcome to all who have shown an interest in or are already enrolled in St. Kevin's RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program for the 2025-2026 session! This is an incredibly special time as you embark on a journey of discovery and discernment within the Catholic faith.
Whether you're exploring Catholicism for the first time, have been away from the Church and are considering returning, or simply wish to learn more, our RCIA program is designed for you. It's a supportive and welcoming environment where questions are encouraged, and faith is explored together.
What to Expect:
Our weekly sessions are at the heart of the RCIA experience. They provide a unique opportunity to:
Discover the Catholic Faith: Delve into the core beliefs, traditions, and practices of Catholicism. We'll explore everything from the Sacraments and Scripture to the history and teachings of the Church.
Engage in Discussion: Share your thoughts, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversations with our dedicated RCIA team and fellow inquirers.
Build Community: Connect with others who are on a similar spiritual path, fostering friendships and a sense of belonging within the St. Kevin's family.
Prepare for Sacraments: For those who desire it, the RCIA journey naturally leads to preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist (First Communion), typically celebrated at the Easter Vigil.

This initial gathering will be an introduction to our program, a chance to meet the team and fellow candidates, and an overview of the exciting topics we'll cover.
